Yoga in Kingsbridge and Malborough
 
 
Yoga is for everyone. Whether you come to yoga to increase strength and flexibility, or to reconnect to yourself in this time of distrations.

I am currently teaching classes at Harbour House in the centre of Kingsbridge, South Devon, at Malborough Village Hall, and pregnancy yoga at Chapel House Studios, Totnes. Classes are close to Salcombe, Totnes and Dartmouth.

I  studied yoga in India with the Himalaya Yoga Valley  under yogacharia Lalit Kumar and his excellent team of teachers. I teach within a modified ashtanga series which is less athletically demanding than the full ashtanga primary series, but which develops solid foundations, strength, calm and flexibility. Seasoned yoga practitioners, complete beginners and everyone inbetween will find these classes resonate with them.

Graduates of Himalaya Yoga Valley teach with tradition, compassion, non-judgement, space, encouragement and sensitivity. Emphasis is on you, your body, and where you are with your practice on the day.

Correct alignment and breathing are key. We use physical adjustments, with your permission, where we feel it can help you deepen your practice.

I also teach antenatal yoga / pregnancy yoga in Kingsbridge and Totnes. I love working with women at this special life-stage and teaching them the amazing things yoga has to offer through pregnancy and beyond.
